Deborah has been creating heirloom huck prayer shawls, challah covers and now bookmarks using Swedish Weaving, or huck embroidery. She teaches privately and in group settings, called Stitch n Kvitch. Her book is helpful for those interested in learning more about Jewish Needle Arts, particularly Jewish Huck Embroidery (also known as Swedish Weaving). She is a member of the Pomegranate Guild of Judaic Needlework and helped found a new chapter in Fairfield County, Kesher “ connection”.
